Joy Ride 2022
Our Annual Joyathon (aka a Bike-a-thon)
What is the Joy Ride?
Our annual Joy-Ride fundraiser is a distance bike ride and celebration on the Bay Trail in Palo Alto. As you well know, one hallmark of growth in the teenage years is the cultivation and healthy application of life skills and willpower. This event is a powerful way for our student community to gain valuable life learnings and to challenge themselves to achieve a goal of physical exercise that they have yet to imagine possible. Many of our students and faculty intend to cycle upwards of 25 miles on the day of the event.
Giving Back to the Community
As an extension of this program, students are putting to use some of the skills developed in our Personal Development Life Skills class. In partnership with the Palo Alto Police Department, the Ecumenical Hunger Program, Good Karma Bikes, and the Redwood City Catholic Workers House, we are repairing 15 bicycles and donating them to people in need of transportation.

- High school students are repairing bicycles donated by the Palo Alto PD and donating them to people in need.
- On April 30th from 9AM-2PM our school biking the bay to celebrate community and raise awareness and money for our micro high school program.
Our Gift of Appreciation to You!
When you contribute $100 or more to Living Wisdom High School, we will name your business as a sponsor and display this list on our website and through newsletter publications. A donation of $250 or more will have your business logo displayed on our website sponsorship page and through newsletter publications. A $500 contribution will name your business as a lead partner in supporting educational transformation.
We are also glad to receive prizes of merchandise or services for our event raffle.
